Alexia Bartholomew was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. Through her journey, she has worn the hats of daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, soldier, veteran, college graduate, overcomer and now a writer. She has written poems like "I Am Eagle, Watch Me Soar", "I Am”, and "Surrender To Your Presence" which is currently in the Library of Congress. "You’re Not The Only One" is her second self-published book that encourages people to remember that they are not the only one going through things in life. Her first book, Father Give Me Heart, is available for purchases in stores and online at places like Amazon, Words Unite Bookstore and Barnes and Noble. Alexia currently resides in San Antonio, Texas where she is currently enjoying food (except pig feet), hanging out at SeaWorld and enjoying the diversity of cultures that the city, San Antonio, has to offer.
