Jill's lifelong love for food & cooking led her to become a master in the kitchen. She loves to share her passion with others by creating delicious, plant-based meals for friends and family. After spending years as an educator and self-trained chef, Jill started the blog and podcast, The Plant-Powered Pantry: a place where small changes in your pantry can make a big difference in your health. The response to her cooking, writing, and podcast was so positive, she found herself wanting to bring it to more people. Jill’s faith and work in various ministries coupled with her love for plant-based cooking, led her to write Faith & Fasting: Scripture & Plant-Based Recipes to Nourish Your Body & Soul. Her work has been featured on Table Talk: A Place to Gather, Guide & Go and Faithfully Fit Friday with Bayside Chapel. When Jill isn’t creating speaking about the Biblical principle of fasting, creating recipes, or podcasting, she can be found running, reading, or shopping for the perfect avocado
